Update (July 9th, 2016):
+ Alternative Input has been added.
- Spinning Blades' collider has become smaller.
“Squeaky Gears” is a mixture of an endless runner and a simple puzzle game. In spite of its simple appearance, it's not as easy as it looks.
The players objective is to run as far as possible while avoiding obstacles and solving puzzles.
Input (Mouse):
- Tap to jump
- Drag blocks along the dotted lines to move them
Input (Keyboard):
- Shift to Jump
- WSAD / Arrows to move blocks
Instructions:
- Dodge obstacles and avoid collisions
- Run as far as possible
- Some blocks don't have to be moved
- Move the block which you are on sometimes
- Don't jump too high or you'll end up kissing the dirt
Side note:
The game was originally made for mobile devices. The gameplay ends usually in a few minutes. It requires no networking to play; no lag. And there is no sensitive control like sniping a beetle; making it playable in a moving bus.
It's going to be available on App Store and Google Play. Although it’s designed to play in a bus, don’t play it while you are walking or driving. Crashing in the game is awesome but crashing in real life is not awesome. It hurts!
