Press Esc (Or any Cancel keys) when done nothing to access menu.
Sound level can be modified in the option menu.

Story:

Eriddini Deepforge travel from the Iron fortress through the deep jungle of the Elderly Forest to reach the Majestic Caverne of Niduga after her people, the dwarven folks were chased out of their home by the dragonlord Zinnath. Her mission is to secure the way to the Cavernes of Niduga and to defeat all the evil that are lurking inside in order to claim it for her people.

In the current alpha game you start at the beggining of the elderly forest and make your way to the Majestic Cavernes of Niduga.
